The protocol of the eighth session of the Turkish-Mongolian joint economic and trade committee have been held in Ulaanbaatar, 20-21 March, 2018. The Turkish Delegation was headed by H.E. Hakan Cavusoglu, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey and the Mongolian Delegation was headed by H.E. N Enkhbold, Minister of Defense of Mongolia.
During the meeting and discuss between the two sides were conducted in a cordial atmosphere based on their desire to strengthen and further develop bilateral economic and commercial relations for their mutual benefit and progress.
Also two sides, confirm that the current level of trade volume was below the economic potential of both countries entities make further increase. Also both side agreed to establish a Turkish-Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and Industry between The Union of Chamber and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI). And Turkish and Mongolian side agreed to task Turkey-Mongolian Business Council to prepare a “Joint Action Plan” for mapping of resources and opportunities for entrepreneurship development and facilitation aimed at mutual growth. In addition, confirmed good cooperation between two countries Standardization and metrology, and sharing of experiences on establishing free zones and the start of a project and program on this issue and the creation of a free trade agreement.
