The purposes for establishing a free zone shall be promoting exports and imports by individuals and businesses, developing export oriented production, developing new industries of trade and services, developing tourism, attracting investments, increasing transits and logistics, introducing and adopting new technologies, facilitating trade, accelerating regional development, and sustaining economic growth, by creating favorable regulatory and investment environments in the region.
