It has been cooperating with Korean Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) with the support of the Ministry of Road and Transport Development of Mongolia and the Ministry of Finance of Korea to establish a logistics center in the “Altanbulag’ Free Zone.
On February 14, 2022, officials of the Governor`s office of “Altanbulag’ Free Zone held a meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Road and Transport Development of Mongolia and KOTRA.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on the development of feasibility study of the logistics center of “Altanbulag’ Free Zone and a baseline study of the local environment.
The research team will work in the free zone from February 15-19. Successful implementation of the study will allow the Altanbulag Free Zone to be developed as the largest land logistics center and international dry port that connects Asia and Europe on the 60 hectares of land.
