The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the PRC organized the Forum on Trade and Investment Cooperation Forum of Mongolia-China Inner Mongolia in 2019 on June 27, 2019 in Ulaanbaatar. Purevdorj, MP, Economic and Industry Policy Advisor to the President of Mongolia Ts.Erdenebat, Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister's Office B.Enkh-Amgalan, State Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs D. Davaasuren China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China Inner Mongolia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Mongolia, Shin Hingin, and more than 300 enterprises from both countries.
The opening of the forum was open and the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ts.Davaasuren said over 60% of Mongolia-China trade was carried out through the Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region. This forum is noted as important to increase bilateral trade and investment cooperation.
The discussions were held on behalf of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, and introduced projects that investment and advanced technologies for non-mining sectors such as agriculture and tourism.
In addition, during the forum of the two countries 15 contracts were signed, included 6.9 billion yuan worth of coal deposits, coal enrichment, meat processing factories, meat and dairy products, export of wild berries, washed cashmere, and heat-treated meat. 15 contracts were signed.
