On April 1, 2026, Mr. O. Ankhbayar, Governor of the Altanbulag Free Zone, together with representatives of the Administration, held an official meeting with Mr. D. Mijidsuren, Director and Chief Engineer of “Ideal” Group, the company responsible for implementing the General Master Plan of the Zone. The parties reviewed the progress of the planning work and emphasized the need to accelerate implementation to achieve tangible results within a short timeframe.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on further detailing and strengthening four key areas of the Master Plan:
Transport and Logistics Zone – focusing on cross-border transport, warehousing, and transit flows.
Industrial Zone – developing value-added processing and assembly industries.
Trade and Service Zone – establishing integrated centers for wholesale and retail trade and services.
Tourism Zone – creating a comprehensive environment for cross-border tourism and related services.
The participants highlighted the importance of close cooperation to ensure timely and effective implementation of the Master Plan. Accelerating its execution is crucial for advancing the development of the Altanbulag Free Zone and creating a solid foundation for attracting investment.
